Joanna DeCrescenzo: My Political typology quiz says I'm a Business conservative. I guess that's because my husband has been a business owner or self employed all our married life and his ideas and thoughts have influenced my thinking although I do have some original thinking on the subject. Other influences which have shaped my thinking are my religious beliefs and culture. My parents used to campaign for the republican party and I remember having gatherings in our home as a child.Although I am very interested in Government and Politics, I am quite ignorant and hope this class will remedy this problem. I did however watch the debates! I was a stay at home mom for 25 years and now that the kids have all grown up I am pursuing a nursing career and this is a required class, (we don't want any politically ignorant nurses out there)! In this class I am looking forward to gaining new insights and although I have strong views on many issues I will try to see things from other perspectives especially those who differ from my own. On the Civic Literacy I scored 7/10 and Current Event quiz 8/12.
